Kalklitir is an Icelandic family-owned brand founded in 2008 by decorative painter Auður Skúla. Now based in Belgium, where we produce and ship our products, the brand remains rooted in her passion for colour, craftsmanship and natural materials. What began in Iceland has grown into a collection of distinctive finishes found in interiors around the world.

Our Icelandic heritage continues to shape everything we create. We believe in the beauty of natural materials, thoughtful craftsmanship and surfaces with character, while continuously working to reduce our environmental impact.
